Empire Debut for Herman's Hermits

In the 1960's Herman's Hermits was one of the most successful bands in the world. From their beginning in Manchester in April 1964, the band has recorded 23 hit singles, 10 albums - a total of 75 million record sales - in addition to 3 films and hundreds of television shows all over the world.

Although Peter Noone left in 1971 to pursue a solo career, the group has never stopped. Original member, drummer Barry Whitwam, has guided the group to this day, making them one of the hardest working acts in the business.

They still average more than 200 one-night stands per year with a schedule that takes them to Germany, Belgium, Holland, Scandinavia, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

The 'golden oldies' still make up a large part of their show, much to the delight of audiences that can't resist singing along to Mrs Brown Youv'e Got A Lovely Daughter, Silhouettes, Dandy, Henry VIII and the rest.
