The 2010 Heritage team have been given the official thumbs up by the Heritage Lottery HQ to start work on the centenary celebrations and history project.
There's an opportunity to find out more about how local people can get involved at an Open Evening on Wednesday 1 April 2009 from 7pm in the theatre.
There will be an optional guided tour at 7pm by Board Director and fundraiser Michael Berry. This is your chance to see behind the scenes and find out how this marvellous building came to be restored as a lively community venue.
There will be a multimedia presentation explaining how volunteers can be involved with gathering local stories and the events planned for 2010 including forthcoming archive and oral history training.
