TV's Talent Star brings fairy magic to Panto

Fans of ITV's talent search, Grease is the Word may remember Alison Crawford as one of the last remaining semi-finalists out of 25 thousand hopefuls to play the part of Sandy in the West End.  Alison's joining the Pendle Productions team to bring you Jack and the Beanstalk, this year's pantomime.  Alison will bring magic sparkle to the role of Fairy Twinkle.

Alison studied at Liverpool Theatre School and completed a BA in Performance Art at Liverpool University, graduating in 2008. Whilst studying for her degree Alison attended a 25,000 strong audition for ITV1's acclaimed 'Grease Is The Word' and reached the semi final of Simon Cowell's search to find a Danny and Sandy for London's West End Show. Since finishing the TV show, Alison has recorded songs for dance music organisation HedKandi (Your Love) and a Christmas song for Zoe's Place Childrens Hospice (Brand New Christmas Day) and is currently performing regularly at venues across the UK as a solo artist.  Amongst other credits, Alison has a plethora street theatre experience working for the Shiverpool Ghost Tours playing mysterious and bizarre characters around the streets of Liverpool. Alison finished performing the Easter Pantomime at Southport Arts Centre as Princess Jill in Jack and the Beanstalk with her partner from Grease is the Word Anthony Kavanagh. Other recent roles include: Snow White, Cinderella and Princess Yasmin from Aladdin. Short Film Credits Include; Plenty More Fish (2007) and Behind The Grease Paint (2005)
