Heritage Open Day 10am - 12.30pm

Harriet will be at the theatre in the morning to show any visitors who may arrive and wish to look round the building as part of a National event encouraging people to discover buildings with a heritage. 

Enter though Capita Centre.

 

Sunday 12 September - Thanksgiving Service/Concert and Social

 

To celebrate all that the theatre has given to local people in 100 years - there is a service of thanksgiving at the theatre on Sunday 12 September with music provided by Blackburn and Darwen Brass Band, slides of the history of the theatre, with soloists Jim Lancaster and Sarah Chew. 

There will be some Christian and secular readings in a service led by Rev Yvonne Pearson.  The event is free and there will be a collection towards theatre funds. 

This event finishes at 9pm.
