Online booking will soon be available for most of our events.  You will need a paypal account to purchase tickets. 

All Tickets can be purchased by telephone using a credit or debit card, or in person from the Theatre Booking Office (in the Capita Performing Arts Centre next door).   The Booking Office is staffed by volunteers, Monday to Friday 10am - 12:30pm and Saturday 10am - 12:30pm, outside of these hours we cannot guarantee that your call will be answered.  There is a £1 one off booking charge for tickets booked on the phone using a card + 50p postage charge if you require the tickets sending by post.   Tickets are also available by sending a SAE and a cheque payable to Thwaites Empire Theatre Trust Ltd.

Tickets cannot be left in the Theatre Box Office for collection unless they are paid for in advance.

 Centenary Year 2010

 

2010 is the Theatre's Centenary Year, 100 years of cinema and theatre since 1910.

We were successful in securing Heritage Lottery funding for a year of celebrations marking the centenary and to capture and create a permanent archive of the history of the building.

The Heritage Project provides a number of opportunites for volunteers to be involved in the life of the theatre.
